Gregory Scott Vallarta

Gregory Scott Vallarta, age 65, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026. Born on August 14, 1960, Gregory lived a life marked by devotion to family, creativity, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

Greg was the beloved husband of April (née Anderson) and the proud and loving father of Danielle Vallarta, who was truly the highlight of his life and his greatest source of pride and joy. He was the cherished son of Frederick and the late Charlene (née Kerlin) Vallarta, and a dear brother to Vicki Vallarta and Mark Vallarta.

He will be deeply missed by his many cousins, with whom he shared close and lasting bonds, as well as by his extended family.

A graduate of Downers Grove North High School, Class of 1978, where he was on the hockey team. Gregory went on to work alongside his family as a talented graphic designer, where his creativity and dedication were evident in all he did.

Greg had a deep love for life’s pleasures. He enjoyed playing hockey, cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears, and had a passion for sports cars, especially his cherished Z28 and BMWs. He also found great joy in cooking, often bringing people together through meals made with care and love.

Above all, Greg will be remembered for his warm heart, his devotion to his family, and the pride he took in being a father. His presence, laughter, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
